Dear Santa

I know it's a little early, but I just wanted to let you know that Creed has decided on what he would like for Christmas
Yes, that's right, he would like the Belle Barbie with a yellow dress with roses that open and close (and who in their right mind wouldn't?  We all know Belle is the best princess; she wears yellow AND loves to read). I'll let you know if he changes his mind, but he says he is certain, and has already reminded me several times that this is what he would like.

PS- He says if you could also bring him all yellow clothes (including, pajamas, socks, and underpants), he will do a happy dance on Christmas morning.

PPS- If any of you come across any really great yellow clothes for toddler boys, I'd love it if you would send me a link so this mom can help Santa out a little.  Yellow pants for boys are not easy to come by.

That is awesome! My son Griffin (2.5) and I just watched Beauty and the Beast for the first time on Saturday. Right before they kissed at the end he turned around, looked at me and smiled the biggest smile. I love it when parents let their children play with any kind of toys, "boy" or "girl" toys. They all serve a purpose! Creed, I hope you get that beautifull Belle doll!

khaki pants, meet yellow RIT dye. yellow RIT dye, meet khaki pants.

i think they will make a perfect combination. heee.

your boy is adorable! and i think it's awesome that you don't push gender stereotyping on him when it comes to his toys.

this, coming from a mom with a daughter loving nicknamed 'Spidergirl', because she loooooooooooves Spiderman. and has toys, clothes, underwear, shoes, costumes, an umbrella and a backpack to prove it! she's almost 6 and starting to feel insecure about her love of spiderman because of a few kids that have teased her. makes me so flaming mad. :(

If you can find a kids section of H&M in your area, then I think you may also like this hoodie:

Oops, the link is working not the way I wanted it to work.. I basically meant this one exactly:

http://files.hm.com/media/products/865/ML865_1182_068R_76605.jpg

If you'd be interested in further details, you can easily find the product using the above 'H&M online shop' link, next clicking the number 4 and there you have it in the middle.. (The prices on the website are all in GBP, so you'll need to convert it yourself to USD, or you can alternatively change it to euro for convenience by changing the country.)

They also have a very very cool sneakers for Creed's age group :) Just take a look:

There's also a detailed size guide available on a website, so I hope it will help a tad.

Also check some Scandinavian brands (like Katvig, Plastisock, Smafolk, Nova Star, Villervalla, Danefae) as they are widely known for using lottsa yellow (not a mellow one though) ;) ...and a really interesting design too.

I'm quite sure they are all available in States.

If so, maybe you could pass the word along to Santa. :)
