To prove to my sisters that, yes, I really am THAT huge

Tiny Ford is not due until the end of the month so I started feeling panicked last night when I started having contractions. I am not ready and I am in charge of a church CPR class tonight (that Larry is teaching, but I have to be there) and having a group of friends over to my house tomorrow night, but luckily after a few hours, things calmed down and I felt normal again.

This last week I reached the point that I really felt enormous and struggled to play on the ground with Creed. I've dragged Larry on a couple of trips to Target grabbing essentials that we'll need when Tiny Ford arrives like tiny diapers and new pacifiers and nursing bras, but I still don't feel ready; the carseat is still in the box and my hospital bag only has a few random items tossed in it. I guess it's time to start getting all of that stuff ready. Oh, and did I mention that we still don't have a name picked out? That could be a problem too. My Aunts were asking us how we could possibly top a cool name like Creed Atticus and the answer is, we don't know! Creed was something that we'd decided on long ago since I didn't want to name a baby Larry Creed, III, but with Tiny Ford, nothing has stood out. My Uncle Tom suggests Golden Champion. Ummmm, not so much. Sorry Tom!

At any rate, someday I want Tiny Ford to read this and know that we were busy in a flurry of anticipation of his arrival; and we really want to meet him, just not quite yet! So here I am last night in all my super pregnant glory.
And as I was posing for that picture, Creed drew a picture of "our baby" and pointed out his blood, heart, and instestines (although, I'm sure you got that from this photo and didn't need my explanation)!

never fear. i'm in the same boat. due the 2nd of march... and having a bit of a panic attack. i have no name suggestions because boys are impossible for us to name... but I really like the name Adam. Nothing new or original, but just a great strong boy name.

SAME HERE!
I am huge (but have 2 months to go), have no name picked, we are not ready at all. We need to buy a new car for heavens sake (we won't legally fit in either of the ones we own).

I feel way unprepared.

I am sure Creed could come up with a good name.

I can't wait to meet Golden Champion. Actually, I went to high school with a boy named Golden. Your post makes me wonder what his middle name was . . .

I'll be waiting with baited breath for the name!
Don't worry, I looked about your size when hospitalized at 30 weeks with Annie. You're almost there!

You look beautiful!!! I remember that feeling, but trust me - you wear the belly well. As for all of the details, I understand. I put the bedding on Amelia's crib and when I walked downstairs . . . my water broke! While all he will really need is you, I hope that you are prepared enough to relax and enjoy it all. What I wouldn't give to experience again the days my girls came into this world! Love ya!

Then how about some classic ‘Euro’-name like perhaps: Jan, Karl, Jochem, Klaas, Hannes, Sigge, Leif, Boaz, Evert, Eero, Stijn, Bram, Arvid, Ville, Moritz, Mans, Viggo, Ludvig, Elias, Sem, Finn, Thijs, Ruben, Daan, Theo, Lenni, Gustav, Christer, Axel, Nils, Anton, Uwe, Emil, Sixten, Wilmer, Onno, Jens, Elis, Frans, Luuk, Rainer or Reiner, Arie or Arjen, and even Johan, Maximilian, Sebastian or Alexander (...bet, these last three ‘items’ are surely quite familiar to you) – and naturally all pronounced in ‘Euro’-manner? :) Would sound kind of cool and might be a tad of a ‘head-turner’ too. Would you go for one of those? :)

By the way, you look great!

Just a few more names I forgot to mention yesterday, yet wanted to share them here too: Bram, Enno, Maarten, Quinn or Quincy, Albert, Yannic, Mads, Willem, Wim, Erwin, Cor, Egon, Jules, Werther, Imre, Gerrit, Ulf, Sander, Ingo (or even Ingolf) and Wouter or Wout. Well, perhaps some of them might be an inspiration for you guys. ;) Best!

Pack your bag Stephanie. With my last I had no bag packed and started having hard contractions in the middle of the night with no plan. Very scarey. Good luck with everything. Tiny Ford is very lucky to be coming to such a sweet family.
