I know my days alone with Creed are limited so I'm trying to take full advantage of them. Yesterday, I decided we should have a special date and do whatever he wanted, but when questioned, he said he wanted to go to Target to get a free cookie from the bakery (which we did two days before). Uhhhh, ok . . . so I listed some other ideas for him and he decided that he wanted to see The Princess and the Frog at the dollar theater, but he really wanted to go to McDonald's first (and I could not change his mind about that one).
I tried to have a quick photoshoot of him before we left, but I have such a hard time getting pictures of him when Larry is not around to stand behind me and get his attention. So most of my photos look like this
and thisOh well, at least he's looking in this one (and I must note that he's much more stylish than me these days, no?)
He happily chattered his way through lunch
and decided that his penguin REALLY wanted to go to the movie with us.
Creed was so excited to go to the movie theater (although, I think the movie was a bit too scary for most toddlers so we didn't watch some of the voodoo parts because the spirits scared Creed. The mom next to me kept saying she couldn't believe the movie was only rated G)
Afterwards, we headed to the park to enjoy what was left of the sunny day.
Once Tiny Ford arrives, we'll have to be sure to schedule special alone time with both of the boys because afternoons like this are just too precious to miss!

So stinking cute! Jealous of your extensive Creed time. But I'm glad I got to see, if only a glimpse before ripped off, the amazing outfit you concocted!!
Your sister better watch out. You photos are fabulous. You are awesome! You dress Creed so stylish. I have given up and seeing your pictures makes me sad that I don't try to dress my kids cuter. They both just love what they call soft pants and they would never keep a hat on for an entire day. What a cute kid you've got.
Creed always looks ridiculously stylish. I wish my Ted would wear a fedora.
I adored the movie and so did my kids. We lived in NOLA so the whole voodoo thing didn't freak me out. I also thought it was very true to the city they were depicting. (You can find voodoo in the quarter, although they are more for the tourist.) My son was too busy with his popcorn to notice the voodoo and my daughter was a little nervous, but I had forewarned her so I think that helped.
i think every movie is scary for kids at the theater, it's just so loud. at least it seems like that for calder who always says she wants to leave. looks like a fun day out!
That is a really cute camera he is sporting (and by the way, I love how stylish your kid ALWAYS is).
Where did you get that camera? Does it work??
Soak up that time with your one and only. I can't wait to hear when tiny Ford comes. You'll be a great mom to two!
Seriously, Steph, Creed has been way cooler than you - literally for years!
i dont remember exactly when did i start checking your blog...but it gives me a lot of happiness....you are amazing.... and i enjoys your blog very well.....thank you so much...keep going...
Yes, and I enjoyed my date with Creed last Saturday. It was worth driving to SLC for.
I keep expecting a call from you saying you are on your way.
Creed looks sooo super slylish!!! :D
Love, love the photo of Creed with both feet off the ground!
First off, congrats on Oliver!! Wow. I can't believe you were in labor for like 3 days. That is miserable. But, way to go! And hopefully he is a lot calmer than Creed.
Also, I thought it was so funny when I saw a picture of Rachel from your vday party. I knew her as Rachel Spek in my ward growing up. That's weird that we have these distant connections . . .
I guess it's just a small world.
Anyhow, happy healing! And happy baby day!!
Love you lots!!
