Finger Puppets

I started working on the finger puppets for the quiet book pages that I'm making (obviously the chicken still needs a face). I have to do 18 of each of these so I haven't decided how many I really want to do. I'm leaning towards making five different animals, but I'm still experimenting with different animals so we'll see. Any guesses about which animals I'm making next?

In other news, Larry just got back from an interview at Oregon Health Sciences in Portland. He said the interview went really well and when he got home there was a message for him from the program he applied to in Denver asking him if he's still interested in the program. They said they emailed him an invitation a month and half ago, but he never received anything from them (which is a little annoying because he might have been able to come to Alicia's wedding with me and interviewed then). The good news is he has one more interview. Now we're left wondering if any of the other five programs he hasn't heard form have tried to email him too.

I am hoping that one of the animals you will be doing is a jaguar....and the other one should be a Mr. Potatoe Head (I know it is not an animal but it is cool and one of your favorite God creations).

Good guess mom. I was going to try to make a pig, but I couldn't find any pink wool felt. I made two more animals this weekend so I'll post pictures soon. You'll just have to wait until then to find out.

As for making more, we'll have to see how I'm feeling after making 18 sets. I have a feeling I may never want to see them again, but I'm more than happy to share the patterns.

Ok I love these and I think you need to do a post on how you made them because I want to do it as well. You are so creative.
