That left me with a lot of time on my hands. I went to a baby shower on Saturday morning and then spent most of the afternoon shopping. I was so good and didn't buy anything until I saw these.
I spent way more on them than I should have, but I saw some really similar trees and Pottery Barn that I loved, but I really could not justify the price of those. So for around the price of one at Pottery Barn, I got three at Target.
I also finally made a dress for the monkey that I started months ago.
And I read two books so I felt semi productive.

Oh Steph, you have the Carr Christmas bug. Marissa and Candice want to decorate this weekend so they can't steal some of my decorations. That would be ok with me because I'm ready for some new ones. I'll be lucky if I get my Halloween put away before this weekend. Life is so crazy busy.
Your monkey is wayyyyy cute. You are so talented. I got lots of sewing done at the quilt retreat at Aspen Grove. I love going up there. I now have even more project to work on. I didn't finish anything and started new things. Oh well, I have a lifetime to complete them right? Love, Mom
P.S. Costco has these great "Noel" large vintage letter blocks for $25. I resisted buying them but I think you girls would love them too.
Just came over from a link on Pam's latest post. Wonderful Christmas trees but such an adorable monkey.
