One of the most rewarding parts of parenting has been watching a friendship blossom between these two over the last year.
I remember being worried before Ollie was born about how much Creed's life was about to change. Many of you commented that Ollie would enrich his life in ways that friends or even parents could not. How very right you were.
They are so lucky to have each other.
Creed and Ollie, Ollie and Creed, it's just the way it was.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. This is making me tear up. Having a sibling as a best friend growing up is unreplaceable. Can't wait to have a little brother or sister for Ingrid! (Okay, that's not true. I can wait a year or two. :)
ReplyDeleteStephanie... I hadn't been on the computer lately and I reciently checked out your blog!!! Creed is such a big boy now! My sweet girl, Ellia, is almost the same age as your Creed (Frb 14th 2007) and people have been telling me how big she is, and I think they are a little crazy, but now I understand!! I see Creed and I can't even believe it! Can you believe how they get so big!! Well, I figured I'd just write and tell you how big boy your Creed is, for fun. Oh, I'm the lady that was trying to figure out the B-day ideas and you suggested an Art b-day... well we went with the ocean party and it was a BLAST!! We got these cool octopus legs belts for all the kids! I'll have to send you pics some say soon, we just moved to FL and I'm a little crazy unpacking right now... ok long enough... bye!
