To Blog or Not to Blog?

I'm rethinking the whole blogging thing, which makes me a little sad because this blog was mostly for myself. At any rate, I'll be taking at least a brief hiatus.

Don't worry mom, I'll just email you pictures.

And to the rest of you, lots of love!

Steph

I understand, Steph. My blog was initially for me and has since become a way for people to keep-to-date on what is going on with Audrey - not really a place for me to vent and sort through my feelings. I just decided this morning that I am going to start a second blog just for me . . . and I'm not sure anyone other than me will know the url.

  2. How will I know what is happening with the Fords? This is a sad day for me indeed.

Sorry to see you stop this wonderful blog I enjoy reading daily.

  5. I have had feelings like this also. To blog or not to blog? Well the reason I continue is blogging has become a wonderful way for me to journal my life. I can look back and see when my kids walked, their first words, feelings I had at the time of a tragedy. I am now tinkering with whether or not to make my blog private or not. I sometimes like the comments of complete strangers, but sometimes I worry that I am opening myself up to too many people. I also hate when I get no comments. I feel sad that sometimes people don't care and other bloggers will post about close to nothing and get 20+ comments. Blogging is somewhat of a popularity contest and lately I try to remember the reason for blogging is not comments, but to capture the moments in life that may be forgotten over time. Ok I will get off my soap box, but I know how you feel and I don't blame you for the hiatus.

  7. I will miss you on a daily basis now, but you have to do what you have to do. You have been the one to enlighten me to the fun and purpose of blogs and I thank you for that. I know that mine is more than dorky more than not, but it has surely become my scrapbooking of sorts for our ever getting busier family. Hopefully we will see you back in the loop again.

By the way, I was going to comment the other day on the doctor's wife post. I totally got that and it probably brought back more memories than I wanted to. I wish I could for sure guarantee that it will all get better, but life sure has no guarantees. I'll just say that our lives are so much different now that Koy is practicing and his presense surely makes a huge difference. I feel your pain!!!

I miss you sweet sister! You need to have a blog so I can see all your fun projects and be jealous that I'm not as creative as you.
Plus I need to see that chubby baby of yours! I miss seeing Creed! He's adorable.

  14. Oh Stepper, you have such a talent for writing and I love seeing baby Creed. He is changing so fast and it is the only way I get to be a part of your lives (BESIDES PHONE CALLS.) I hope you will be able to write again soon.

Life is crazy here trying to fit everything in but we are having fun with Candice, Grant, and Cole. Too bad the house is such a wreck. I don't think we are going to catch up this week either. We have Marissa coming tuesday, the parade and bbq on Wednesday, swim lessons with the kids, yoga classes to attend, morning exercise walking in the hills, we have 7-peaks passes we haven't even used yet, and I have the Harry Potter Premiere to figure out for work. So much to do and so little time.

Hope you are having a good week. We miss you, Mom
